Two amazing talented people I had the pleasure to meet here in Vancouver  my friends Paula and my roomate Miguel, returned to their native countries last month. On their last night here Pau asked me to do a sketch on her pink moleskine, then  Miguel did his own version on the opposite page. the result was one of my favorite collaborations :) that's mine on the right and Miguel's on the left

Dos de las personas mas interesantes y talentosas que eh conocido, mi amiga Paula y mi roomate Miguel dejaron Vancouver. La ultima noche que nos vimos Pau me pidió que le hiciera un bocetito en su moleskine rosita, después Miguel hizo su versión del boceto a su estilo, el resultado es una de mis colaboraciones favoritas. :)  (el mio es el derecho y Miguel a la izquierda)

Last year I was in line at the bank bored to hell when my phone rang, it was a client who was looking to produce a book. Being a big fan of lucha libre, you can imagine how exited I was when she told me about the possibillity of doing an illustrated children's book featuring lucha libre legend and mexican icon El Hijo Del Santo. Got in touch my good friend Kone to see if he was interested in working on it, few hours later we're on skype putting togheter the rough story, posible characters etc. along the way we also recruited a couple of friends, Pablo Maañon in charge of writing the script and the tallented mr Lerms on aditional illustration and backgrounds. 8 months later on october 2009 the book finally came out.  here are some pictures of the process
